You all probably believe I have commitment issues. I can assure you I do not! I am a devoted person. I am devoted to being on time{just ask my friends}, keeping my appointments, sticking with my beliefs, going to work, getting cleaning done, devoted to my friends and family and especially my husband.

You get the picture. Continue reading Mental

I hate to be one of those people that have a countdown or post every single monthly anniversary – but, I sort of am that person. I try really hard not to be cheesy about it but, when you really love someone you almost subconsciously become well, cheesy. I would never post “3 month anniversary” because that is silly. Not everyone needs to know the countdown, but Zach and I have been keeping{shockingly, more so him} a personal countdown of our marriage so far. We have come to the halfway point: six month anniversary! Which I believe is something worth mentioning. You realize how much either your life with that person has changed and how much you both have grown in only a course of 6 months. Also, you realize how fast time is flying and asking yourself “seriously, where did the time go?” I remember awaiting our wedding date and thinking how excruciating long it was taking to come along. Alas, the wedding comes, honeymoon is over, life begins with your partner and now you both are like “its, already Nov!”

There are a few things I have learned to treasure in our marriage thus far and the major five things I could come up with is pretty awesome:

Current Skincare Routine/My Skin Type

Good morning everyone!

Unfortunately, I do not have a TGIF: I Just Can’t Stop Listening post because I literally only been listening to Tame Impala hehe! That is not even a joke.

But, I thought it was time to do what I have been planning for SO long. A current skincare routine. Now, I am trying to be more innovative with this blog but, I hope you can forgive my lack of photo taking skills. I am going to incoporate links to the products and where I normally buy them.

Let’s begin….

Do You!

So, I bought this hat off of Urban Outfitters, this past spring or summer. I just fell in love with it and had to have it! It was on sale, so I was like SCORE! Once, I received the hat, I was excited to try it out, and when I put it on my head I felt so ridiculous! For starters, I do have a small head. No, hat ever fit correctly on my head my entire life. But, this hat DID fit my head it was the brim that threw me off. I just put it up in my closet and told myself not to worry that I can try it again when its cooler. It will look cuter with boots and a oversized sweater. Behold, the cooler months are here. I get out the hat try it on and the same feeling comes over me: “you look ridiculous”. And then I realized “you know what, I don’t think I am hip enough for this hat”

I even went as far as to research how to rock a hat. And you know what I found you need to posses? Confidence. And that resonated with me. I felt ridiculous because I lacked the confidence to wear it. So, as you can see from the image above, I took a photo {selfie} of myself wearing the hat and showed my friends. What didn’t help was that my husband said: “why are you wearing a hat? You don’t wear hats.”  Which made my confidence wane. But, thanks to a few friends, they said it looks cute and I don’t look stupid.

And you all may be wondering, why I am so worried about wearing a hat so much. Because, for years I have been eyeing these hats and they always look so awesome on people and I always wanted one. But, I either couldn’t find one that I liked or they were too big on my head. Plus, I am tired of wearing beanies all the time and wanted something a little more fashionable.

I really didn’t think this post through too much. It was something on my mind and I know there are a few people who are afraid to wear hats especially the newer type of “hip” hats we see people wear today.

They are awesome though! So, muster up some confidence and put on a hat.
