I Forget Where We Were

On Thursday’s we listen to music.

I will feature either a song, album or a concert I checked out and dedicate that post to just music. I love music so much it has always stirred up emotions: happiness, sadness, anger and everything in between within me.

Music is my ultimate love language.  Continue reading I Forget Where We Were

Nothing better than realizing your work week is OVER! Not like I have a strenuous job, but the fact that I don’t have to be talking on the phone all day is a huge plus for me.

Especially, this week because for some reason I keep losing my voice – so weird.

There is nothing particularly exciting going on this weekend:

TGIF: I Just Can’t Stop Listening

Happy Friday! This week felt like the longest week and a highly busy one and my weekend is equally as busy. But, since I finally got some time to breathe I thought I share music I have been not obsessing over but, been dancing too for weeks:

I have been loving some Tame Impala this month. I use to listen to their last album “Lonerism” and I loved the track “Elephant” so much! But, some reason I kind of stopped listening to them{and yes, they are played on the radio} but, as you probably know I don’t normally listen to the radio so I might have missed some singles. I was vacationing with friends at OBX this past September and our friend had me play “Disciples” from their new album Currants and I was like this song is cool! So, I decided to listen to the new album and I am so happy I did! Ever since we left OBX{Outer Banks, NC}, I just can’t stop listening to this album while I cook, clean, especially drive, the dance vibes are their guys!

I hope you enjoy this album as much as I do!

Till next time!

TGIF: I Just Can’t Stop Listening

Is it seriously October 2nd already?! I felt like September wasn’t even here. I turned 28 and that was it. It was over. But, this past week has been a good week and so has been my Spotify shuffle on my Starred playlist.

This is one of my all time favorite songs. I never get sick of it. I always sway and sing along. And when it randomly appears on shuffle and the song is over, I immediately replay it. Its been on constant repeat all week. It just felt right. Then again this song is always on constant repeat.

Rosa by Grimes

I’ve accidentally stumbled upon this song. I was never a huge fan of Grimes but, I did enjoy her popular songs and also, quite honestly, I never actually tried to listen to any of her albums{maybe I should} but, ya know life got in the way. I use to follow TropRouge she is a blogger and shared her top 5 songs and this was one of them and I just fell in love! I was like “why am I just now hearing this song?” This is a song you can also zone out to, play at a party while everyone is talking. Its tempo is low enough yet, it does capture your attention{that probably made no sense}.

Till next post! Get ready! Its a review!

TGIF: I Just Can’t Stop Listening

Hello everyone! I think this will be a permanent feature on the blog where every Friday I will post a song or album I just can’t get enough of that week. This will not be a hard task for me as in I fall in and out of love with songs and artist all the time.

To celebrate my first post of TGIF: I Just Can’t Stop Listening I am sharing the album/song I cannot get enough of this week!

Lana Del Rey’s “Born To Die”

Lana, just released two new singles “Terrance Loves You” and “High By The Beach” and um, well, their not my favorites. So, I started reminiscing and “Video Games” is always one of my favorite songs from her and I started playing her first album “Born To Die” and I forgot how much I enjoyed that album. So, I have been listening to it non-stop for the past two weeks and its great!

Thoughts on her new singles? Any Lana Del Rey fans? I don’t normally gravitate to his genre all the time, but I do enjoy her music particularly and she does surprise me with her soulful like voice.
